Fan Code of Conduct

The Lightning League is dedicated to providing fans with a world-class soccer experience that has a positive and memorable impact for everyone. We expect all fans to treat fellow spectators, players, coaches, officials, and staff with respect and dignity.
Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited at all Lightning League events and venues:
Personal Conduct Violations
- Abusive, harassing, threatening, disruptive, or violent actions directed at players, coaches, staff, officials, or other fans
- Use of threatening, obscene, pornographic, or discriminatory language, gestures, or symbols based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Bullying, intimidation, or verbal abuse of any kind
Legal Violations
- Underage drinking or irresponsible alcohol consumption
- Use or possession of controlled substances
- Fighting, physical altercations, or inciting violence
- Property damage to venue facilities or personal belongings of others
- Theft or attempted theft
Venue & Match Interference
- Failure to comply with smoke device and pyrotechnic policies
- Non-compliance with venue policies and staff directions
- Entering the field of play or surrounding restricted areas
- Throwing objects onto the field or at any person
- Interfering with match play or officiating
- Accessing unauthorized areas beyond your ticket permissions
- Unauthorized recording or broadcasting of matches
Enforcement & Consequences
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in one or more of the following consequences, as determined by The Lightning League and venue management:
- Warning: Verbal or written warning for minor infractions
- Ejection: Immediate removal from the venue without refund
- Venue Ban: Temporary or permanent ban from all Lightning League events
- Supporter Privilege Removal: Revocation of season tickets, memberships, or supporter group affiliations
- Legal Action: Arrest and prosecution for criminal violations
The Lightning League reserves the right to determine the appropriate response to any violation and to take action at its sole discretion.
Be a Great Fan
We encourage all fans to:
- Cheer positively for your team
- Respect opposing teams, their fans, and match officials
- Report any concerning behavior to venue staff or security
- Look out for the safety and enjoyment of those around you
- Set a positive example, especially for young fans
- Drink responsibly if consuming alcohol
