The&nbsp;Grapevine&nbsp;Conference&nbsp;is&nbsp;being&nbsp;established&nbsp;as&nbsp;the&nbsp;next&nbsp;stage&nbsp;of&nbsp;The&nbsp;Lightning&nbsp;League’s&nbsp;regional&nbsp;expansion,&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;specific&nbsp;focus&nbsp;on&nbsp;building&nbsp;a&nbsp;connected&nbsp;youth-to-senior&nbsp;pathway&nbsp;for&nbsp;clubs&nbsp;and&nbsp;players&nbsp;throughout&nbsp;the&nbsp;region.<a href="https://lightningleague.com/clubs/northeast-chicos" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Northeast&nbsp;Chicos&nbsp;FC</a>&nbsp;will&nbsp;serve&nbsp;as&nbsp;the&nbsp;anchor&nbsp;club&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;formation&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;conference,&nbsp;helping&nbsp;establish&nbsp;a&nbsp;regional&nbsp;structure&nbsp;designed&nbsp;to&nbsp;give&nbsp;youth&nbsp;organizations&nbsp;a&nbsp;clear&nbsp;opportunity&nbsp;to&nbsp;extend&nbsp;beyond&nbsp;the&nbsp;traditional&nbsp;youth&nbsp;game&nbsp;and&nbsp;build&nbsp;sustainable&nbsp;senior&nbsp;programs&nbsp;within&nbsp;their&nbsp;own&nbsp;communities.The&nbsp;objective&nbsp;is&nbsp;not&nbsp;simply&nbsp;to&nbsp;create&nbsp;another&nbsp;competition.&nbsp;It&nbsp;is&nbsp;to&nbsp;build&nbsp;an&nbsp;ecosystem&nbsp;in&nbsp;which&nbsp;players&nbsp;can&nbsp;enter&nbsp;through&nbsp;local&nbsp;youth&nbsp;clubs,&nbsp;continue&nbsp;developing&nbsp;through&nbsp;older&nbsp;age&nbsp;groups,&nbsp;and&nbsp;ultimately&nbsp;compete&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;senior&nbsp;level&nbsp;without&nbsp;having&nbsp;to&nbsp;leave&nbsp;the&nbsp;organizations&nbsp;and&nbsp;communities&nbsp;that&nbsp;developed&nbsp;them.The&nbsp;League&nbsp;is&nbsp;currently&nbsp;seeking&nbsp;clubs&nbsp;throughout&nbsp;the&nbsp;South&nbsp;Central&nbsp;Valley,&nbsp;Antelope&nbsp;Valley,&nbsp;Santa&nbsp;Clarita&nbsp;Valley,&nbsp;Ventura&nbsp;County,&nbsp;and&nbsp;surrounding&nbsp;areas&nbsp;that&nbsp;share&nbsp;that&nbsp;long-term&nbsp;vision.&nbsp;For&nbsp;existing&nbsp;youth&nbsp;clubs,&nbsp;the&nbsp;Grapevine&nbsp;Conference&nbsp;provides&nbsp;a&nbsp;framework&nbsp;to&nbsp;develop&nbsp;a&nbsp;complete&nbsp;player&nbsp;pathway&nbsp;from&nbsp;youth&nbsp;football&nbsp;into&nbsp;senior&nbsp;competition.&nbsp;For&nbsp;senior&nbsp;clubs,&nbsp;it&nbsp;creates&nbsp;an&nbsp;opportunity&nbsp;to&nbsp;build&nbsp;stronger&nbsp;relationships&nbsp;with&nbsp;local&nbsp;youth&nbsp;programs&nbsp;and&nbsp;establish&nbsp;a&nbsp;sustainable&nbsp;pipeline&nbsp;of&nbsp;players.As&nbsp;the&nbsp;conference&nbsp;grows,&nbsp;the&nbsp;goal&nbsp;is&nbsp;to&nbsp;create&nbsp;a&nbsp;regional&nbsp;system&nbsp;where&nbsp;clubs&nbsp;are&nbsp;not&nbsp;defined&nbsp;by&nbsp;a&nbsp;single&nbsp;team&nbsp;or&nbsp;age&nbsp;group,&nbsp;but&nbsp;by&nbsp;a&nbsp;long-term&nbsp;pathway&nbsp;that&nbsp;allows&nbsp;players&nbsp;to&nbsp;continue&nbsp;progressing&nbsp;within&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;football&nbsp;community.Youth.&nbsp;Senior.&nbsp;One&nbsp;connected&nbsp;pathway.Applications&nbsp;and&nbsp;expressions&nbsp;of&nbsp;interest&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;2027&nbsp;Grapevine&nbsp;Conference&nbsp;are&nbsp;<a href="https://lightningleague.com/forms/grapevine-conference" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">now&nbsp;open.</a>
